Zaire is a woman living in the heart of Igbon in a small village called Firr.

Her father Yaro is the blacksmith of Firr and his swords are famous in the region. They are sharp, balanced and beautifully crafted. Yaro teaches his craft to Zaire who tends to his shop when he travels around to sell his work.

Zaire has a strong moral compass, that brings her into a lot of trouble in the law driven region of Alder. She is brought op with the stories of the old Gods and it pains her to see that the culture of her ancestors is pushed aside by the big cities and the descendants of Abiola.

Of the Gods of old Zaire leans closest toward Nyoka because she is a spirit linked to freedom and adventure.
